Synthetic based fracturing system
  • WGS-250 - polymer emulsion

WGS-250 is a copolymer based on acrylamide with a high molecular weight designed for use at high temperatures with a typical polymer load of 27 wt. % (2.25 pounds per gallon of emulsion or 0.27 kg per liter of emulsion). Polymer emulsion, as a thickener in liquids to impact on the reservoir during hydraulic fracturing in high temperature wells.

  • Surf-250 - surfactant

SURF-250 is a surfactant for inverting a second kind emulsion into a first kind emulsion.

  • CL-1 - zirconium cross-linker

CL-1 - zirconium cross-linker , 100% active complex of triethanolamine zirconium. Zirconium cross-linker CL-1 is hydrolyzed in water to form an active complex of zirconium hydroxy-chelate. The formation of chelate compounds is stable in water for a long period. The zirconium chelate or hydroxy chelate may form complexes with organic substances containing —OH or —COOH groups. When a similar reaction occurs with a cross-linker with multifunctional polymers containing these bonds, highly viscous gels appeared with the formation of transverse intermolecular bonds.

  • Low pH buffer - alkaline acidity regulator

Low pH buffer - is a mixture of acids to decrease pH value in hydraulic fracturing fluids with zirconium-based cross-linkers. Depending on its concentration and water composition, the final selected pH value of the hydraulic fracturing fluid is kept in the desired range, regardless of the reservoir temperature, for optimum stability of the fracturing fluid viscosity.
